In MUFL, Myanmar Subject is being taught to the first year and second year students, and Aspects of Myanmar to the first year students.
In Arts and Science universities, Myanmar Subject is being taught only in the first year. In this University, however, this subject is taught up to the second year in order to acquaint the students with Myanmar literature, Myanmar language and Myanmar culture according to the learning needs.
Learning Myanmar as a subject, students will be able not only to learn the nature of the language but also to compare their language, literature and culture with the languages and culture of the world. That is why it will be quite fruitful to the students of Myanmar language and literature. Moreover, in MUFL, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, the courses for Myanmar language as a foreign language are being conducted in different levels for the needs of foreign learners.
